IncluSafe is a dual-purpose IoT device designed for households in disaster-prone areas. It acts as a photo frame under normal conditions and transforms into an emergency response tool during crisis, helping families prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural disasters. Equipped with proactive alerts, communication features, and actionable guidance, IncluSafe ensures safety and peace of mind before, during, and after a disaster.
This device redefines disaster preparedness by providing clear and immediate alerts regarding imminent natural disasters. Through a combination of visual cues, and audible notifications IncluSafe ensures you receive critical information without delay. As an indispensable feature, it offers detailed, step-by-step instructions tailored to your specific situation, illustrating customized evacuation routes to ensure your safety. With real-time updates and guidance, IncluSafe empowers users to navigate emergencies with clarity and confidence, turning fear into a structured response rooted in preparedness and knowledge.

After a disaster, IncluSafe offers recourses such as the location of nearby shelters, medical aid stations, and other recovery centers. It also provides guidance on how to start the recovery process by providing easy-to-understand steps that reduce uncertainty during stressful situations.

By connecting families and neighbors, IncluSafe fosters a sense of shared responsibility. Users can check in on their neighbors, share available resources, and coordinate emergency actions, improving community resilience when infrastructure fails.

The motivation for IncluSafe stemmed from our research into current disaster-response technologies, which highlighted several gaps:
